Hey, we're having a tournament soon and we think you might be the type of player we want to heat up the party. You're invited to Chan and Roun-Jians house party Skud Pai Sho tournament. Just to let you know, some of the most important teenagers in the fire nation will be here, 
so try to act normal. We're looking to find the best of the best Pai Sho players to hang with.

This will be a double elimination Skud Pai Sho tournament.
If a player is ruled as inactive, the player be eliminated.

The matches will be standard Skud Pai Sho games and players have three to four days to complete their games for each round. Unfinished games will be ruled in favor of the player in the lead.
The length of the tournament will be dependent on how many players register.

Registration will end July 31st.
Tournament starts August 1st.

Winner of the tournament will receive a set of small Skud Pai Sho tiles. As well as a board to play on.

To be approved to participate in the tournament you must do one of three things in addition to registering on skudpaisho.com
1. Register on the Toornament page. (You can also just search "Chan & Roun-Jian's House Party" on toornament.com)
2. Reply to this post with your Pai Sho username.
3. Message me on discord with your Pai Sho username @TurtleGamin#9759

Hello everyone! I am a couple weeks into playing and its already becoming a problem! Let me first express my gratitude to Skud and all the others who have made this platform possible and unleashed a great gift to us players!
I am currently working on my own physical set to recruit new players. I have come up with an innovation on the tiles, but I will show you when it's done! Tea stained wood is all I have to say about that!
I am particularly interested in studying the game theory and strategies of Skud and Vagabond, and hopefully give back a book or series of articles. If you have any particularly interesting past games or novel strategies I would be very greatful if you would send them my way! If you want to keep your secrets, there is no shame in that, but be warned I will play you eventually!

It's Halon_Keiser! I'll be making the blank map for the Atla map project. I'll post updates from world painter as I go. I'm new to the program and I have a couple projects coming up (building a Pai Sho board, for one!  ) so progress will be fairly slow, but as I get closer I'll post updates in this thread.

Obviously there are 4 nations, but each nation has sub-sections. For example, the different rings in Ba-Sing-Se. So use this thread as a place to post builds, critique other builds, offer support, etc!

Late in the era of Avatar Kyoshi, peace across the four nations ushers groups of travelers across the Earth Kingdom. Gaoling, a flourishing and friendly city, finds itself the home of a popular Pai Sho tournament of players from across the world. Join us as we see whose Vagabond Pai Sho skills lead them to the top of the pack in The Garden Gate's third Vagabond Pai Sho tournament in the Gaoling series!

This will be a swiss-style tournament, granting players 2 points per win, 1 point per tie or draw and 0 points per lost match.
If a player is ruled as inactive, the player will receive a -1 in penalty points.

Games will be standard Vagabond Pai Sho games and players will be given two to three days to complete their games for each round. Unfinished games will be ruled a draw unless it is clear that there is a player who is inactive, in which case the active player will be ruled the winner.
The tournament will consist of 4 rounds.

Registration will end April 19.
Tournament starts April 20.

To be approved to participate in the tournament, please sign up at The Garden Gate and register at the Toornament page, using your The Garden Gate username as your player nickname. 
If you would rather not sign up for Toornament, then reply to this thread with your The Garden Gate username instead.

This is a spontaneous tournament during the quarantine many of us are experiencing right now.

The tournament will be a swiss-style standard Skud Pai Sho tournament, consisting of at least 4 rounds. If there is enough interest, more rounds might be added.


The tournament will begin March 23rd 2020.
Players will have about 3 days to complete each match; if there's no winner after the given time, the match will be ruled a draw (although if one player is clearly inactive, the active player will be ruled winner).

Hi everyone,

When playing a game against myself I made it so with the last move both sides won. The message popped up: "btpound vs. btpound BOTH playersundefined". When on the game page, it shows the game as completed, however the game still shows on the "active games" tab, and I am unable to join any more games against myself. When I try, the message pops up: "You are already playing a game against that user, so you will have to finish that game first."

Any way for me to fix this, or am I just stuck with it?

Would appreciate any help. Thanks!
